Antique Clock Pricing

The prices of antique clocks vary widely. Prices depend on style, manufacturer, condition and of course age. I cannot think of anything as stately as a longcase clock with a good sound box as it chimes. I don't have an expensive grandfather clock but mine does have a great sound. I am not so sure I like the idea but after a while, you don't even hear the clock chime. When our kids come to visit, they complain the chiming of the clock every 15 minutes keeps them awake. My response is that as long as they're awake, they might as well listen to the chimes. Ours has a very melodious Westminster chime. I love it.
